OCC: Transparencies

'Morning!


I really love it when I discover new things in papercrafting. When I discovered I could stamp on transparencies, I was a little giddy. One of the really cool things about stamping on transparencies is that if you mess up, you can remove it with stamp cleaner and start over. 

This week on Our Creative Corner we're working with transparencies. For my project, I've created a little gift tag set that is packaged in a little transparent pillow box. 



Stamping on transparency isn't as hard as I thought it would be. One tip, stamp directly onto the surface and then lift straight up. Any shifting, rocking or uneven pressure and the stamp will have a tendency to slide around on the slick surface.


And here are the tags that go inside the box.

    This is cute as can be, Holly. Such a pretty color combo - I love blues and browns together. Your tags are totally terrific too! Wonderful work on this week's transparencies challenge.

    Holly, I think your 'gift' is fabulous! I love the idea of using a clear sheet of cardstock and making it a container! and the christmas tags inside are perfect! LOVE IT! and the snow flakes stamped on the transparency is perfect! what a great idea and thank you soo much for sharing!

    Holly, this is such a fabulously festive project! I love the snowflakes on the pillow boxes and that awesome color combo. SO much pretty detail. Thanks for shaing that tip about removing ink from transparencies with stamp cleaner, too. I never knew that. I need more practice with transparencies and this is great inspiration.
